In 1997 the Stand By Me Foundation, a non-profit (501) c (3) organization was created. The Mission of the Foundation is to award scholarships to deserving students who are financially challenged and have the desire to pursue a four year college degree with an emphasis on studying music.

In addition to the above as of August, 2008 the Foundation took on an additional challenge and that was to partner with the prestigious Berklee College of Music. In doing that we are now able to help deserving students complete their education by supplying the specialty computers that are required for their education.

Your continuous loyal support has enabled the Foundation to provide scholarship assistance to our students as well as contribute to the National Coalition against Domestic Violence and previously to HIPPY (Home Instruction Program for Preschool Youngsters).

It is that time again! The golf tournament will be held at the prestigious Lansdowne Golf Resort in Leesburg, Va. The dates are August 16-17, 2009. As with the rest of America, we are also experiencing very hard economic times and recognize that you may be as well.

The enclosed material is for your review, won’t you please take a few moments to look over the information. We have added some additional levels; maybe there is a level of support that will best fit your budget.

I have asked some of my friends to join me in presenting Sunday night’s entertainment. They have graciously agreed to donate their time! You really don’t want to miss this one!
